Best dental experience ive had and I absolutely hate the dentist due to extreme dental anxiety. Called them on a Wednesday and they got me an exam the next day. During the exam it became clear something needed to be done ASAP due to infection and they called the owner who graciously rearranged his schedule so I could get surgery the next day. They went above and beyond when it came to getting the finical things figured out and the next day it was surgery day.

Ive always been put completely out due to a really bad experience with a previous dentist and was very apprehensive when they suggested the twilight sedation as its never worked for me. They must have found bill cosbys recipe book because I remember absolutely nothing and experienced zero pain. I cant stress how impressive this is because twilight sedation has never worked for me when I had to get ONE tooth pulled. Ive had twilight sedation for orthopedic surgery 3 times and it didnt work then either... They managed to pull out 6 teeth, screw studs into my jaw bone and do some other stuff with zero pain and once the meds kicked in there was zero anxiety. Im shocked it worked to be honest. If you hate the dentist then this is the place for you. I experienced no pain and felt comfortable the whole time, they were extremely accommodating and compassionate in regards to anxiety and pain.

The entire staff is super friendly and lighthearted but very professional and take pride in what they do. I let half the teeth rot out of my head, walked around in pain for years because of having bad experiences with other dentists and this place erased all of that in an afternoon. Im moving out of state in a few weeks but plan to drive back to this office for any future dental work! Just go here, you wont regret it.

Dr. Slade T. Shuck was born and raised in Hugoton, Kansas. He attended Oral Roberts University in Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he graduated with a Major in Biology; and a Minor in Biochemistry. After graduation, he attended ATSU Missouri School of Dentistry and Oral Health, where he graduated with his DMD degree. Dr. Shuck is married to Chloe Shuck, and they have two beautiful dogs, Forest and Scout.

When he is not in the office, his hobbies include; running, tennis, pickleball, video games, and eating.

Dr. Soren Michaelsen was born and raised in Norman, OK. He attended the University of Oklahoma and Brigham Young University during his undergraduate studies. After acceptance into the OU College of Dentistry, Dr. Michaelsen and his wife Natalie, a native of Broken Arrow, were excited to be able to move back home to the Sooner State.

Immediately after receiving his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree, Dr. Michaelsen began his private practice in Catoosa where he plans to enjoy a long career serving and caring for the dental needs of Catoosa and the surrounding communities.
